Health and Safety Guidance

Health and safety guidance for participants at FluteFling events

Last updated: 29 March 2024

We at FluteFling recognise that Covid is very much with us for the time being, and that people may have health and safety concerns. There are particular issues surrounding wind instruments, including traditional flutes and whistles which feature in performances, 1-1 teaching, group teaching and sessions.

FluteFling organisers and volunteers take this seriously, so John Crawford has kindly drawn up some guidance for participants of in-person events that we hope will be both helpful and reassuring. You can view or download the PDF here:

We welcome any feedback that can help to improve the guidance. As the situation changes, we expect to update this from time to time.
